garbage man

well since I've been working my central behind off lately as a garbage man AND on top off that been on the downside with adding work here (not good) I'd thought I just add something not mine. oh, and yes, work as trucker is all over and done.

things starts to pile up

issue with having a camera at hand as per usual. thinking of just doing a panorama picture of my whole room at this point. then just doodle with a marker what is new since last...

anyhow, IMAGE LINK OF THE WEEK #5 is up.

sketch: toothy rabbit

two setups I sketched on the bus home. I plan to add texture to one of them at a later stage. perhaps redraw the carrot as well with less details and shape to fit the image. astronautboys is a source of inspiration.

edit: added colours some days to late. not even close to finished. should wash out the colour range some.

wallpaper texture

yeah well, I aimed to add these when they where done but in the end I don't really feel like working on 'em right now. might change my mind and finish them up in a week or in worst case next month.

graffiti equals art?

graffiti is art, or is art not in the eye of the beholder?

free art stuff phase 3

there. phase 3 is done. phase 1 was planing while phase 2 was cutting. now the testspray is done and colours are more or less set in stone. it will be two versions. the lower right one and the two on the far left. had some misfortune with the spray adhesive on the first testspray but changed to 3M spray mount.

had some major problem with the spray cap for the background layer. if curious then just compare to the same piece I posted some weeks ago that turned out much better. I didn't align the layers correctly just to get some differences in between them, but perhaps I should try to get them a bit more in line. no need to go over the edge about being arty?

well anyhow. I know some of you people that visit do stencils yourself. I have a question for you guys -do you want a decent tutorial (stencil tutorial) on how to go about? I've noticed myself that most around lean towards quite crappy, in my humble opinion.

don't forget to check out this week image link of the week on the left hand side of the site. it's awesome.

other then that. a lot is going down. soon to come.

sketch: how to improve myself

ok, first off. I want to make perfect clear that this is in many ways not my art work. yes it's my hand that traced this down in my blackbook. but the inspiration to most of the artwork is from someone I've found on deviantart. astronautboys is the one that should be blamed for the awesome design.

why have I've done something this heavily influenced by someone else? well I figured, how do I improve myself? answer to that was; find myself some good artist. and as you do with any kind of art form. copy, duplicate, learn -so you at some point can improve your own style.

well hope you liked it and don't forget to check out astronautboys.

sketch: molly

should I share stuff like this? it's a sketch for a stencil I've been working on and off for the last month. finally I think it's done and ready to be cut. perhaps it's to much of a trivia to actually add it here?

this will be done for a friend so no hidden message or stuff like that. was cracking the idea while working on this one, a piece that will, if ever completed, be more political. photograph by Richard Kalvar, must check up on fair use also before I go forward doing anything else with this stencil.

pattern by killxthexscenexstock over at deviantart. taken months to find a appropriate place for it.

sketch: school project

a ongoing school project but I doubt the other groups doing this project have found their way here... markers on second sketch got messed up. they bled tremendously.

this is a USB sender and receiver for controlling electronic devices in your home from your computer. it's meant to be able to do schedule tasks and receiving input from around the home. USB connection is on the back and a 12V plug in front to amplify signal if needed.

basic idea behind the design; slim and easy to bring along with your portable computer. people move away from stationed computers more and more so why create a product that only helps to lock one at place? essential for the product is that it must be very cheap to produce since the market is very young.

for the even more super nerds, it's symmetrical both at length and from the middle out, so only one of two parts need to be produced. the shape makes it ideal to withstand torque compared to a flat one. that allows us to cut down on the material. all in all it adds up to a slim, cheap product that just might look kinda appealing too(?). might add some of the other rejected sketches too at a later stage.

I'm out.
